An exceptionally elegant and balanced Ruby 18 from Sun Moon Lake, naturally cultivated and produced from beautifully sorted young leaves.
This famous Taiwanese cultivar can sometimes become overpowering or overly minty, but here the tea remains soft, harmonious and very refined.
The session opens with malty caramel sweetness and gently stewed stone fruit before revealing cooling Moroccan mint notes, especially in the second infusion. Hints of leather, cinnamon bark and freshly cut hardwood emerge slowly beneath the surface, adding complexity without heaviness. The texture is smooth and rounded, with remarkable balance and clarity throughout the session.
