Ruby 18 Black 30g
Ruby 18 (I Pao Hong) was developed by cross-breeding a wild Taiwanese variety with a Burmese assamica. Officially catalogued in 1999, it quickly became Taiwan’s most celebrated modern black tea. This is yet another example of how Taiwan leads the world in innovating whole new types of tea!
Effusive notes of wintergreen, red date, malty honey, and warm spice offer both comfort and lift. A deeply aromatic, distinctive tea with its own natural sweetness and invigorating energy. Like our Honey Black, it comes from a Buddhist temple in Hualien, crafted by a passionate monk-tea master who devotes his life to cultivating the spirit... and black tea, often simultaneously.
