kusenaoshi

Ceramic stoneware kusenaoshi (whisk holder), used to keep the tines of a chasen in the correct shape while they dry after use. 
 
Rinse your chasen or whisk a bowl of warm water & place on a whisk holder (kusenaoshi) to dry.
