Kamairicha 50g
Kamairicha is one of Japan’s rarest green teas — a pan-fired style that predates the modern steaming methods used for nearly all Japanese teas today. Crafted in small batches in the mountain air of Miyazaki, this tea bridges Japan’s subtle elegance with the warmth and comfort of Chinese wok-firing.
The aroma rises with chestnut and toasted grain, leading into a smooth, savory liquor rich in kombu dashi umami, gentle floral notes, and lingering vegetal sweetness. It’s round, balanced, and deeply satisfying — at once comforting and refined. Each infusion reveals new nuances: first warmth and umami, then a soft, green sweetness reminiscent of spring mountain fields. This joyful, honest tea captures the taste of a warm spring day in every cup.
