Hojicha is a roasted Japanese green tea—but it’s not green! Made from stems, leaves & veins of the autumn harvest & slowly fire-roasted to a deep caramel perfection. Our hojicha powder comes from a small eco-farm in the fog-shrouded Oi River valley near Mt. Fuji in Shizuoka, an area renowned for some of Japan’s finest teas. Smooth, comforting & low in caffeine, it makes an exceptional latte with rich, chocolaty & nutty depth. Great any time, but especially cozy in the evening!
